Department of Environmental Health Technology
We train Environmental Health Technicians (EHTs) who work to identify and mitigate environmental health hazards. Their responsibilities include:
- Conducting inspections of food establishments, water sources, and other environments
- Sampling and testing water, air, and soil
- Identifying and reporting environmental health hazards
- Enforcing environmental health regulations
- Educating communities on environmental health issues
Our graduates often work in government agencies, public health departments, or private companies, contributing to the protection of public health and the environment.
